There have been a number of changes to the beach at Gunnamatta. Over last winter there were some serious erosion events due to huge swells, destroying the main lookout and access point at the second car park.

We have also had quite poor sand banks at second car park for an extended period, leading me to sail the first car park left and further afield at other local spots.
